How to prioritise website audit fixes

Most audit backlogs fail because every issue looks urgent. The useful question is narrower: which fix is most likely to improve enquiries or protect search visibility with the least uncertainty?
Group findings into four buckets: blockers, commercial pages, trust and tracking. A broken form or missing phone link is a blocker. Thin service pages belong with commercial pages. Weak proof, unclear contact routes and vague copy belong with trust. Missing analytics events belong with tracking.
Score the fix before doing it
Give each fix a rough score for impact, effort and confidence. Then focus on the fixes that are high impact, low or medium effort and easy to verify. Use website design, website audit, the lead cost calculator and the tracking ROI guide to connect the work back to enquiries.
Keep the list short
A good first audit plan should fit on one page. If the first list has more than ten actions, it is probably a technical inventory rather than a plan.
