Signs your website needs a manual audit

Scores are only clues

Automated tools are useful for finding obvious issues, but they rarely explain whether those issues matter commercially. A site can have acceptable scores and still fail because the offer is unclear, the local pages are weak or the contact route is hidden.

You probably need a manual audit when traffic is flat, enquiries feel inconsistent, service pages are thin, competitors explain the offer better, or analytics cannot answer which pages create leads.

What a manual review should cover

A useful review checks page purpose, search intent, internal links, calls to action, technical basics and whether the site gives visitors enough confidence to act. Compare the findings against local SEO, website audit, website design and the local SEO score.

The output should be prioritised

The value is not a longer list. The value is knowing which three or four fixes deserve attention first.
